Day 31, "sleep" week...

Well, I'm not really sure how closely I'm going to follow this week's theme, especially since it's right after "tired" week, and I'm a bit of an insomniac ;) I tried to find "sleep" on my way to work today, and this is what I saw. I'll keep an eye out for "sleep" the rest of the week, but I'm not promising anything.

So, the theme for this week is "breakfast", and I spent my walk in coming up with a cool idea for when I got to work, which is where I eat my breakfast most days. But then I got to work, and was almost done eating my muffin before I remembered I was supposed to be taking a picture of it =P Oh well, there's always tomorrow...

For my last "cold" week entry, I thought I'd go with a different interpretation of the theme ;) I just hope I'm not tempting the fates here...

Day 7 1/2, flowers on your windowsill

Some days it's a challenge to find the right photo. Today I had my perfectly apropos "cold" photos taken care of on my walk in thanks to the snow storm this morning. And then we gathered in my boss's office at the end of the day today, and I couldn't not take photos of the flowers on her windowsill. So a big thanks to my awesome boss, Maria, for not yelling at me for taking photos during a meeting. And now a double dose post for day 7 =)

Day 7, snow storm

Well, in a week I've already seen how challenging taking a photo worth sharing every day can be, but it's also made my walks to and from work a lot more interesting as I'm now looking at everything with a critical eye and constantly on the lookout for something cool:




I've also taken to carrying my little camera in my coat pocket so it's easily accessible, and things that I may have only considered for a moment before walking on, I'm now stopping to take a photo. Thinking ahead about producing hundreds of photos is daunting, so I'm practicing just thinking about one day at a time too.

I almost already failed at this until my dear hubby reminded me I hadn't taken my photo for today! I've also decided to use weekly themes from DPS for inspiration. And so, with a half hour left of day 3, here is my first photo for "cold" week. And hey, I never promised 365 days of genius here =P (PS, in case you're curious, the theme for days 1 & 2 was "newness")
